Bulletin Board - Message Tyre rating Hi there, Have just bought a Nightfire Red RV8, and only noticed when I got it home that the tyres are 205/65/15 94H. Does that mean they are H rated and not legal for an RV8? I don't want to replace them unless I have to they are nearly new Pirellis. If you have H rated tyres they are not good enough and the insurance will be invalid. Do also register your RV8 on the website under moving heading "Register Your V8" box. H is rated at 130 mph and although you might not drive at more than 130 mph the car is capable of a higher speed and must have suitably rated tyres (V).
