BGTV8 heater control knobs
The heater control knobs on my V8 are in poor shape, and on checking the Moss catalogue I see that the 1975/76 model heater knobs are shown as NLA. Does anyone know if there is a source for them? Thanks,
Mike Wood

Why not try the MGB breakers? MGB Hive (http://www.mgbhive.co.uk/ 01945 700500) break cars as does Andy Jennings (http://www.mgcars.org.uk/andyjennings/mgb-parts.htm 01489 790611).

Mike, Try here. If no joy, unlikely, have a look at the V8 Lifeline people on the web site - page in lefthand column named V8 spares & Support.

Recommendation: Mike Russell needed a replacement horn push for his MGBGTV8 and found it was an NLA item so posted a note on the V8BB seeking help. Alan Spence recommended Mechspec for secondhand spares so Mike duly contacted them. Dave Parker had a secondhand horn push available and mailed it out and Mike reports the replacement arrived the next day. It was obviously secondhand but perfectly serviceable. Mike comments "hearing an item is 'NLA' can be a heartsinking experience as you just know there is one out there somewhere so I would endorse Alan Spence's advice via the V8BB to 'give these people a try'."
