Bulletin Board - Message Fitting CD Player/Amplifier Thanks to the bulletin board replaced the blown original speakers with Sony XSA-1027's, along with a Sony CD player. At the same time, using an audio connector (Halfords PC2-04-4) and some phono plugs managed to get the Amp working using the Sony's Pre Out and standard amp power feed. Wiring was suprisingly easy comparing the wiring from the original radio, phono's connected to the speaker inputs and amp power the the remaining top connector. The sound was good without the amp and rear speakers, but better still with them! Doubt I will use its full potential mind you! Next job is to fix a misfire, lots to check having read the archives, already done air/fuel filters and stepper. Plugs and ignition next, will keep trying before resorting to finding a local garage with a test book. Site is really helpful, many thanks.
